I have worked in the area of taxation my entire career including 10 years with law firms, 6 years with the IRS and 7 years doing hands on tax return preperation for individuals and small businesses.  My experience covers income tax, payroll tax, estate and gift tax, fiduciary tax, nonprofit reporting and state tax.  In addition, I worked as a financial advisor previously holding licenses in the areas of insurance and securities.

My tax preparation and planning clients include US citizens (living at home and abroad), resident aliens and other taxpayers residing outside the US.  I work with clients in several states including CA.

I use my extensive knowledge base to help clients make strategic tax planning decisions and prepare their tax returns within the parameters of the tax laws and IRS Circular 230.  I am also available for IRS controversy work, such as audits.

Currently, tax preparation work is done entirely by me and the cost is calculated as a fixed fee with no hidden charges after the fact.  The fixed fee is determined on objective factors such as the various schedules required, number of businesses, rental properties, assets sold during the year, etc.
